Aunty Roxy's Birthday

Hi everybody! Today is my dear aunty Roxy's fifth birthday. Ah ma prepared a very special dish for her - grilled lamb fillet with mixed vegetables. It was very yummy and di yi even shared the food with us. Grilled lamb is also her favourite dish.

Animals in Europe

Ah ma has just returned from her holiday in Europe. She took alot of photos of the animals in Europe. The dogs in Europe are very different from us. Here most people treat their dogs like children. Ah ma said that dogs in Europe are very lucky. They have more freedom and they can go anywhere with their owners - shopping, cafe,boating, strolling in all the places of interest, visit musuems and even follow their owners to work. Ah ma wished that she could bring me along whenever she goes for a holiday so that she would not miss me.

During the trip, ah ma met a very interesting dog named Oxy in Paris. His owner is a tour bus driver. He follows his owner to work everyday and he will sleep next to the driver's seat. His owner put a cushion next to the driver's seat, so it should be very comfortable for him. He likes all the special attention that he gets from the tourists. Whenever the tourists reaches a destination, Oxy will jump onto the driver's seat and smile happily whilst the tourists pat his head.

The horses, cows and sheeps from the farms were also leading a very carefree life too. Ah ma saw a very funny horse with a veil and thought that the horse was getting married. Actually, the horse was having flu.

There are alot of horse farms in Amsterdam.

This duck is so beautiful, it's different from those which you see in Singapore. You can see them swimming in the rivers all over Europe.

This kind of dog is very common in Europe.

Dogs in Europe are so clever. This dog was biting a stick while walking with his owner who was cycling.

Dogs enjoyed alot of freedom in Europe. They can pee and poo anywhere and it is not an offence. People have to be very careful when they walk on the street.

Dogs owners can bring their dogs anywhere. This dog went to a cafe with it's owner. Mummy would be very happy if we can follow ah ma out because ah ma eats out very often and she would share her food with us.

The weather was very cooling and comfortable, this dog was taking a nap whilst waiting for his owner who was having tea with her friend.

Some interesting dogs that ah ma saw in Europe. They were smiling happily when they were out with their owners.

This puppy is very luckily. It followed it's owner to Venice for holiday by taking a cruise.

The dog owners in Europe like to ride on a bicycle whilst walking their dogs. This poor dog had to run very fast inorder to catch up with it's owner.

This cute Pomeranian was playing with the ball while it's owner was drinking coffee at the cafe.

This dog looks like a bear and is very huge.

This dog is specially trained to help disabled people in London.

Thank God, Gabby is found

After mummy and I ran out of the house, we saw a white cat and started chasing it. After chasing for a while, I realised that mummy was not with me and I was lost. I was very scared because I don't know the way home. I walked around the street and had a fight with another cat. I just realised that there are so many stray cats in this estate, not just Cruella. The cat was very fierce and she scratched my lower lip. I don't how to fight :( I only want to chase after cats and frighten them. I never knew they were so scary! I will not mess with cats anymore. I was very afraid that the cat would bite me so I ran as fast as I could and hid in the drain. The drain was dark, wet and smelly. It's strange that though Ah ma, gong gong, ah yis and the maid went all over the place to look for me, I didn't see them. Ah ma always tells us that in case we are lost, we should hide in the drain and not to come out until we feel safe. Otherwise, people will catch us and will not return us to ah ma. I waited very long until past midnight, then I came out of the drain and tried to find my way home. As I was crossing the road, I was nearly hit by a car.

I knew Ah ma and all my grand aunties had been praying for me. Praise God! God had answered their prayers and had sent his angels to rescue me and bring me home safely.

There were 5 boys (Poly students) who lost their way while cycling along Cresent Road. They saw me crossing the road alone around 2am and knew that I must have lost my way home. They wanted to rescue me, but I was very scared so I ran as fast as I could to Wareham Road. I have never ran so fast in my life! Finally, I ran to a corner and they caught up with me. I felt very weak and tired after all the running. One of the boys put me in his bicycle basket and brought me to a petrol kiosk to buy a drink for me. During the earlier part of the evening, my ah yis and uncle Daryl went all over the estate to paste posters about missing dog. These boys did not see the notice at all. Luckily, Uncle Daryl gave a copy of the notice to the cashier at the petrol kiosk. Wow, this helpful lady asked one of the boys if he had seen a missing dog! He saw the notice and my picture, so he contacted gong gong immediately. God had led me home safely -- the petrol kiosk is just outside our house.

The whole family was very happy because they were very worried that if I cannot be found, ah ma would be very sad. She had been crying and wailing for me so loudly the whole night that everybody in the neighbourhood could hear her. I heard that when my daddy was lost, his mummy cried too. My ah yis said that if they are lost, ah ma will not cry for them. Of course, they are big enough to find their way home.

We are all very lucky that when we were lost, we still managed to find our way home. We have to be very careful because we may not be so lucky the next time. I will not run out of the house without ah ma's permission ever again. Everybody said that aunty Roxy is the smartest, because she did not follow us when we ran out of the house.

DH gave me a bath immediately because I was wet and smelly.

My paws are aching. My poor ah yis' legs were also painful after all the walking.

My poor paws are swelling and it's so painful. I want to ask uncle Daryl to massage for me.

Don't worry ah ma, I will watch her closely to make sure that she doesn't run away from home again

I am feeling so tired because ah ma scolded me and whacked my bum bum. Sorry ah ma, I promise I will not run away from home again.

Went grooming with my baby yesterday

I am still feeling very tired and confused.

Not fair! As a punishment for running away with my baby, no snacks and massage for me for 1 week. Baby still gets alot of attention from the family....

GABBY GABBY IS LOST

This evening I ran out of the house with mummy after ah ma and ah yis went out for dinner. The aircon man came to repair the aircon in the living room and he did not close the small gate. Earlier part of the evening, ah ma brought me out for a walk and mummy wanted to follow. She was crying after we left. So when the door was open, I followed mummy when she ran out of the house. We started chasing the cat. After awhile, we discovered that we couldn't find our way home and we started to panic.

Mummy hid under a lorry and a kind lady brought her home. I was not so lucky.

Somebody could have found me and took me home. When the lady heard gong gong and the maid calling for us, she came out of the house and told daddy that she found a dog. She told ah ma that somebody could have taken me home when they see me walking, feeling lost. My ah ma and ah yis have been looking for me around the neighbourhood but can't find me. I know my ah ma is very very worried and she will be crying for me to come home. My grand aunty Carrie and her dog lover friends have been praying that God will lead me home. I miss my ah ma, mummy and family. Ah ma always says that if Gabby Gabby is lost, people will not return me to ah ma because I am so cute and adorable. I hope this kind person who finds me will return me to ah ma. I really miss my ah ma very very much.

Ah ma, please find me. I want to come home.

Baby, where are you? Mummy is very worried. Please come home now!
