Princess Is Sick

Our darling Gabby Gabby is sick. She has been vomiting for 2 nights and it got worst this evening. She acted strangely last night because when ah ma fed us with the yummilicious fried chicken prepared by Roxy's godpa Chef Chan, Gabby did not rush for it. Instead, she had been drinking alot of water. She didn't eat the chicken which ah ma gave her. Usually, she would get very excited. After we had finished eating the chicken, Gabby was vomiting and DH found that she vomitted blood. All of us were very worried and ah ma fed Gabby with the medicine that the vet gave her. She was well after that. DH said that she had been eating well for her lunch and dinner.

Tonight, after ah ma came back from dinner, she bought snacks for us. Gabby did not rush for the snacks. She started vomiting and this time, even more serious than last night! She vomitted again just now and also had diarrhoea :( Ah ma and mummy Nikki are very worried and they are going to stay up tonight to look after Gabby. Tomorrow morning, ah ma will bring Gabby to the vet. Hope nothing serious will happen to her.

Ah ma, please bring my little princess to the vet tomorrow.

It's A Hot Hot Day !

These few days, the weather is so humid, so ah ma sent us for grooming. Nowadays, we don't follow ah ma to work. Ah ma said it's better for us to play at home because aunty Roxy and I always bark whenever there are people coming to the office. It's too noisy and it affects the staff. I miss going to the office because it's cooling there. It's very hot at home so we spend our time sleeping on the floor.

My hair is so long and messy but I still look so cute.





Mummy's hair is covering her eyes so she cannot see clearly.
She cannot run faster than us to grab for the snacks.

After shaving off the fur on her body, mummy still looks so chubby.

She needs to slim down.

Cruella - The Evil Cat

This is Cruella. The naughtiest cat on earth. She is a stray cat but she comes to our neighbour's house everday. Our neighbour is a very kind man and he feeds her daily. Cruella always stay at the porch. She is very intelligent and knowing that gong gong cannot stand her, she deliberately does things to irritate him. She would sleep on the gong gong's car everyday even though there are other cars parking along the road. Once, ah ma kept a Siamese cat called Minnie and she would climb in the house at night to attack Minnie. Minnie got so upset that she ran away from home and was never to be found. Now, she would climb into our porch to attack Jerry and Terry. Gong gong has to keep them in a stong cage. Gong gong tried to catch her by laying a trap but was not successful. Once, ah yi lined a fried fish with wasabi and Cruella didn't eat the fish. She would not eat anything from our house. I hope gong gong will catch her one day and send her to SPCA.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH MA

We celebrated ah ma's birthday yesterday. Ah ma was very happy because this year's birthday is very special. She received alot of birthday greetings from grand aunties and friends. Ah ma was very surprised that her cousin grand aunty Ah Tin remembered her birthday. Thank you grand aunty Florence, grand aunty Carrie and tua yi por for the beautiful flowers. Thank you aunty Carina for being so thoughtful. She brought ah ma a very nice present. - a burner and Lavender oil. Ah ma lighted it just now and we felt very relaxed. I think I should be able to sleep well tonight. Thank you uncle Daryl (di yi's boyfriend) for the tripod. Gong gong gave ah ma a camera lens. Ah ma bought a canon SLR camera recently.

Ah ma celebrated her birthday at Chef Chan's restaurant. Chef Chan prepared special food for ah ma. He even made birthday buns for ah ma. Chef is a very kind and generous man. He served geoduck (a very expensive shellfish that looks like a clam with a long trunk) in sashimi style, Szechuan pork wrapped with a pancake, his signature fried chicken, steamed fish in black bean sauce and a huge steamed snow crab with beer. (di yi said that it was super yummy) Thank you Chef Chan. Aunty Roxy, mummy and I will give you a big hug and a kiss when you visit us next time.

My two ah yis bought this special cake for ah ma. This is ah ma's favourite cake from Puteri Mas. They don't sell this cake in the shop, so ah yi had to specially request for it. It's a very simple coconut cake. Ah ma shared the cake with us and we love it too. Dogs cannot eat chocolate cake.

Happy Birthday Grand Aunty Carrie

This month, there are alot of birthday celebrations. Ah ma organised a birthday party for grand aunty Carrie last evening. Last Sunday was grand di kim's birthday -- aunty Snowy's ah ma. Next Friday is my dear ah ma's birthday and towards the end of the month is Tua yi por's birthday (Miso jie jie's ah ma). Aunty Roxy, mummy and I would like to give ah ma a present but we have no money. How??? We will give ah ma a big big kiss. My two ah yis went shopping with ah ma yesterday and bought a bag and a pair of shoes for her. Chef Chan (aunty Roxy's God pa) invited ah ma for dinner at his restaurant on her birthday. Thank you chef for being so nice to ah ma. I will give you a big kiss when you come to visit aunty Roxy next time.

Black Sunday!

Ah ma was very mad at mummy and I this afternoon. We followed ah ma and di yi to Cold Storage. When we reached home, we saw our neighbour's cat - Cruella. She is a stray cat with a very ugly and fierce looking face. So we jumped down from the car and started chasing her. Wow, mummy can run very fast when she chases Cruella! We ran across the road and ah ma was screaming very loudly for us to come back. The whole neighbourhood could hear her. We just ignored ah ma and she was very mad with us. She said that it was very dangerous to run across the road and we could have been run down by passing cars.

When we went back inside the house, ah ma asked DH to bring out the cane. Ah ma doesn't believe in "Sparing the cane and spoil the kid". She caned both mummy and I very hard and it was so painful. She wanted us to know that it was wrong to run out of the house alone and chase cats across the road. She doesn't want anything bad to happen to us. Mummy was very scared and she hid under the sofa for most of the afternoon. Aunty Roxy was lucky because she didn't follow us otherwise, she would have gotten caning too.

Sorry mum. I promise I won't do it again. Please don't cane me, it's very painful.

It was a very hot day today but suddenly, there was a heavy rain downpour in the late afternoon. Jerry had just recovered from the flu and had been singing and talking noisily the whole afternoon. Gong Gong took him out from the cage in the morning and put him on a stand. When Ah ma went outside to check on the birds, she found that Jerry was missing from the stand. DH went out to the neighbour's house to check but couldn't find him. We thought we had lost him! Sometimes, Jerry would break away from the chain and walk around the car porch. He cannot fly because his wings have been clipped. We thought Cruella had eaten him for lunch. Ah ma and di yi were very sad.

After awhile, Gong gong went out to check and saw that Jerry was actually hiding, taking shelter from the rain on top of the bird cage! Jerry is indeed a very smart bird.

Bird Flu

Poor Jerry was sick for more than a week. Gong Gong brought him to the vet yesterday. The vet said that Jerry has a flu and eye infection. We were all very worried because Jerry is a very smart bird that can talk very well. Even when he was sick, when ah ma stroked his head, he would say "Hallo" very softly. DH had to feed him with nutritious food like egg yolk, glucose water and gong gong even bought Jerry's favourite organic sunflower seeds and walnuts for him. Luckily, he has recovered and we hope Jerry will start talking again. Jerry likes to imitate our barking and DH is always mistaken that we are outside the house.

It's grooming time again. Last Saturday, ah ma brought the 3 of us for grooming at the pet shop opposite our house. This new groomer is a handsome young man who grooms show dogs . Nowadays, we look very cute, just like the dogs in the magazine.


Aunty Roxy with her usual Schnauzer cut. Nowadays, her fur is very black and shiny. She is also getting very fierce and naughty. She always likes to growl at people. Ah ma was bitten by her while cleaning her ears. Aunty Roxy bit ah ma's index finger right thru her nail. It was very painful and ah ma had to see a doctor immediately. The doctor had to laser off part of ah ma's nail and gave her an injection. The doctor's fee costed $450. Imagine how much snacks ah ma could have bought for us with the money.

Ah ma loves us very much and she was not angry with Aunty Roxy. Aunty Roxy was very scared as she knew that she had done something wrong.

Mummy always looks very sweet in any style.

I had the new "Aunty" look. I am not your cute Gabby Gabby anymore.

My ears are long and curly. Wonder when I can have the cute and sweet Teddy bear look again.

Now I am beginning to have the same hair style like ah ma.

I don't want to keep my ears long anymore :(
